A temporary break from Tunisia pictures. This equestrian statue of the Civil War general, U.S. Grant, near the U.S. Capitol building, was engulfed in "heavenly light" last evening. To me, the image also looks somewhat eerie, like the "headless horseman" even though we can see his hat! View large to see the detail in the clouds and light rays. Highest Explore #29, Oct. 22, 2008.
