HIGHLY recommend View large on black Finally, finally, finally. The type of storm I am used to. Five full hours of solid lightning shooting. As it got later in the evening, there was lightning everywhere, 360 degrees and even over my head. I was a bit nervous but I'll be darned if I was going to miss the best of the very late monsoon season when it came to my town. This very strong pre-sunset burst pounds down on Grants Ridge at the entrance to Lobo Canyon. Caught during a 1 second exposure. Grants, New Mexico
