Physicist Receives Million-Pound Prize for Predicting a 'Hypercosmic God'by Jeffrey Tomkins, Ph.D. *
On March 16, 2009, the Templeton Foundation announced the winner of its annual 1 million pound sterling (1.42 million USD) prize, an amount that exceeds the payoff of the prestigious Nobel Prize.1 Bernard d’Espagnat, a French physicist at the University of Paris-Sud, will receive the award from the Duke of Edinburgh at Buckingham Palace at an elaborate ceremony in May. Dr. d’Espagnat was awarded the prize for his work using theoretical physics to predict the reality of a hypercosmic god, who exists outside of the physical universe.
The Templeton Prize was started in 1972 by Sir John Templeton, an American-born entrepreneur and businessman. Templeton’s goal was to provide monetary resources for research and discovery in science and philosophy, with a focus towards university faculty. Candidates for this award have typically performed research involving a strong metaphysical or spiritual side that very few researchers are willing to tackle.
Dr. D’Espagnat received the recognition specifically for his work in “concept reality,” an off-shoot from his decades of work in quantum mechanics. The goal of quantum mechanics is to provide a complete description/model of the physical world. However, if something exists beyond scientifically predictable phenomena, then there must be some other reality underlying the natural world, another dimension that is not based on time, distance, or physical constraints.
Additionally, events in one dimension are able to simultaneously affect events in the other dimension and distance is not an issue, even though the second dimension is non-local. D’Espagnat’s current hypothesis is that some unknowable divine entity operates in this underlying realm/dimension. In other words, theoretical physics now predicts the reality of a hypercosmic god.
In this model, there is no way to know this divine being or connect with him in a meaningful way. D’Espagnat’s notion of the impersonal/unknowable aspect of this god is not actually predicted by the model, but simply represents his own opinion on the matter.
It is interesting that one of the hottest fields in theoretical physics points towards a Divine Being or God and also predicts God’s divine attributes of omnipotence, immortality, omniscience, and omnipresence. What is even more exciting is that all of these findings line up with the description of God in the Holy Bible, except for one thing—He is knowable and we can connect with Him in a meaningful way through the forgiveness of sin available through His Son Jesus Christ.2
Although it is exciting that modern scientific research clearly points towards God, it does not take millions of dollars in government grants coupled with years of laborious research to prove His existence and know what He is like. His Divine attributes are clearly outlined in the Bible.

OK, you conservatives, is this correct:?

Is it possible for a muslim to be a Zionist?
I'm a muslim but I also believe that Jews should have the right to establish their country and homeland. Personally, I admire Jews. Most are very pleasant, kind and educated people. Also, Israel has made strides in the scientific and bio-medical communities and has been contributing vastly ever since it's establishment. I also believe there are many slanders against Israel's policies against the Palestinians, who have been shown many humanitarian aid by Israel. Also, while many Arab countries refuse Jews and Israelis many of their basic human rights let alone allow them in positions of power, many Arabs have been given seats and political power within the Israeli government's infrastructure. Israel defends itself against terrorist organizations such as hamas and hizbollah, granted a couple of innocents have been killed in the crossfire, but collateral damage is inevitable in such cases correct? Why is admitting these facts automatically make muslims label me a non-muslim zionist jew? Isn't it possible to be both a zionist (supporter of Israel) and a muslim?
Question #8:
Are the Global Warming emperor's robes invisible, or is he naked?
Isn't it incredible that if the East Anglia leak hadn't happened, most of the world would be floating in new "save the world" taxes? It turns out that dozens of "scientists" that were a part of the IPCC "clique"... intentionally built up extremely weak, and sometimes outright false information and data to be able to come to the conclusion they wanted to reach in the first place!
excerpt...
The global-warming establishment took a body blow this week, as the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change received a stunning rebuke from a top-notch independent investigation.
For two decades, the IPCC has spearheaded efforts to convince the world's governments that man-made carbon emissions pose a threat to the global temperature equilibrium -- and to civilization itself. IPCC reports, collated from the work of hundreds of climate scientists and bureaucrats, are widely cited as evidence for the urgent need for drastic action to "save the planet."
But the prestigious InterAcademy Council, an independent association of "the best scientists and engineers worldwide" (as the group's own Web site puts it) formed in 2000 to give "high-quality advice to international bodies," has finished a thorough review of IPCC practices -- and found them badly wanting.
"Some scientists invited by the IPCC to review the 2007 report before it was published questioned the Himalayan claim. But those challenges 'were not adequately considered,' the InterAcademy Council's investigation said, and the projection was included in the final report."
Yet the Himalayan claim wasn't based on peer-reviewed scientific data, or on any data -- but on speculation in a phone interview by a single scientist.
Was science even a real concern for the IPCC? In January, the Sunday Times of London reported that, based in large part on the fraudulent glacier story, "[IPCC Chairman] Rajendra Pachauri's Energy and Resources Institute, based in New Delhi, was awarded up to 310,000 pounds by the Carnegie Corp. . . . and the lion's share of a 2.5 million pound EU grant funded by European taxpayers."
Thus, the Times concluded, "EU taxpayers are funding research into a scientific claim about glaciers that any ice researcher should immediately recognize as bogus."
What does the best evidence now tell us? That man-made global warming is a mere hypothesis that has been inflated by both exaggeration and downright malfeasance, fueled by the awarding of fat grants and salaries to any scientist who'll produce the "right" results.

Question #9:
Financial Aid Refund Check?
Okay well I know that if you get government aid or scholarships and there is money left over after all expenses are paid you are usually entitled to a FA refund check. But here's the thing with me, the grants I received covered most of my expenses but I just became eligible for a scholarship that would leave alot of money left over. If the checks are coming in a few weeks but my scholarship doesn't go into effect until the week of, will I still get a check for the left over money? and if not, will I get that money in refund check from the spring semester?
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Question #10:
Did you know that our DC Bureaucrats had a big funding party yesterday for an Islamic Terrorist organization?
Concerned citizen Christine Brim writes:On August 31, this coming Tuesday, the Muslim Brotherhood-associated “Coordinating Council of Muslim Organizations” (CCMO) will bring 25-30 Muslim leaders of 20 national Muslim groups to attend a special workshop presented by the White House and U.S. Government agencies (Agriculture, Education, Homeland Security, Health and Human Services etc.) to provide the groups “funding, government assistance and resources.” The workshop will apparently provide special access for these Muslim Brotherhood organizations: the organizers pledge to provide “direct access” and “cut through red tape.” Government and Muslim groups will hold an Iftar dinner (breaking the fast of Ramadan) after the workshop.
She then described her attempt to find out who was getting what, when and why. Basic questions REPORTERS used to be known to ask and get answered. Did OUR GOVERNMENT respond? Not really. They stonewalled. No transparency! No accountability.
Exactly how much money are we giving to our enemies in Islam? I guess as of 1 September 2010 -- today -- we can no longer count our DC Bureaucrats as friendly. NOT WHEN THEY SUPPORT A MURDEROUS BROTHERHOOD!

Question #11:
What do you think of my atheistic synopsis of life and Jesus alike?
There have been many alike who are assassinated because the primitively evolved ego is still evolving and so is man. Unfortunately there is just as much good or benefit to evolve out of the same amount of quantifiable badness that occurs in life. This badness leaders inflict upon our selves for the greater good. So historically people who mean well who gain too much following and therefore power are assassinated for the greater good/advancement of man kind.Of course one of them has to be the greatest and martyred.
Here is an axiom or paradigm for you:
As cave men did we struggle to even contemplate our existence as we looked to the stars barely literate and utter the word Goh! Goh! which became GOD. Oh it must be GOD!
Primitively evolved ego blames god and the devil and puts everything in little boxes in the mind in order to recognize and relate to them. This weakness exploited by others for purposes of social division, avarice greed and power over others as we beat our chests in satisfaction.
The hunt was successful today!
le Panacea/the cure all for all, Our Secret Weapon, axiomatic system from which we can produce logical coherent conclusion and paradigms, In traditional logic, an axiom or postulate is a proposition that is not proved or demonstrated but considered to be either self-evident, or subject to necessary decision.
Therefore, its truth is taken for granted, and serves as a starting point for deducing and inferring other (theory dependent) truths. The key aspect of our humanity seems to be our morals and beliefs.
The ability to change, adapt, and create the ability to carry out a coherent logical conclusion. This is one factor that allows us to change ourselves and adapt to a changing world.
To construct and stabilize our morals we must begin with some principles held as axioms and logically derive from those axioms conclusions which become our morals.
Our ability to radically change ourselves and our original axiomatic belief system accounts for the other half of our ability to change, adapt, and create.
We have advanced so far in terms of knowledge, society, and technology. Yet there is still so much more to create and discover. What will propel us is ultimately our humanity. And we have seen that stability and change make us human. In this yin-yang sort of duality, these two aspects of our nature–the desire for tradition and stability and the excitement brought on by radical revolution–synergistically combine to form what we call humanity and human nature. We have discovered our secret weapon: two conflicting yet supporting principles that guide our ever-shifting path into the future.
In terms of God I think it's very interesting that creationism, (a consequence of the evolving ego) has produced a mental mechanism that can often forgive us for what ever we do, and also creates a solution to what we can't explain.
In my opinion we are a very counter productive and self destructive species which still struggles to break the mold of mindless facile and frivolous cultural perpetuation as a result of many given leader types or peerage consumed with avarice, falsely empowering ones self and self preservation. This behavior and moral standards learned and then perpetuated pervasively throughout any given culture.
E.G. exploitation of the weak or primitively evolved ego, the sinister inciting coups and the best products that can possibly benefit man kind are not brought to market because the don't make enough profit.
Wealth is power and can influence government policy, the cultural foundations of which will typically be built upon the exploitation of others as one capitulates to avarice thoughts and feelings ultimately aspiring to self preserve and acquire power. These standards are set thus learned and perpetuated down through the hierarchical ranks of any given culture. Rotten peerage = rotten culture.
No one asks to be born here and no one asks to leave.

Question #13:
Why do liberals hate the word socialism when...?
Why do liberals hate when people call their policies socialistic when they obviously are? Check out Click Here and take a good look at what are called "grants" under the Opportunities tab. This means that anyone can apply for a check from the federal government, but I seriously doubt that they'll approve grants to upper-middle class Americans, and that the grants are directed towards lower income families in the hopes that they'll spend the money and maybe even stimulate the economy (so far, I'm not seeing much stimulus). So in effect, this is a redistribution of wealth, or an attempt at equalizing the spending power of all classes, which is by definition socialism. My question to liberals is, why are you so afraid of the word "socialism" in the face of the truth that you are indeed running a socialistic system in a capitalistic economy?

Question #19:
Obama I said let the illegals go free but Fed agents frustrated by judges’ immigration decisions?
In March, Jose Manuel Gonzalez-Sandoval — who had committed serious crimes in the United States since 1998 — stood before Florence, Ariz., Immigration Judge Bruce Taylor on a deportation hearing. That day the judge canceled his removal proceedings, allowing him to stay in the United States.Four months later, Sandoval was arrested again on an outstanding warrant but was released. Three days after that release he led police on a 100 mph car chase. Then in August, in response to a 911 call from his family, he shot at Arizona deputies who came to his home. That night, he escaped. He later turned himself into authorities after they began a public manhunt for him.
Sandoval, who had resident status, is only one example of a legal system that lacks working mechanisms for deporting criminal aliens, said Rep. Ted Poe, a Texas Republican and former judge.
“The federal government has the responsibility, the moral duty to send these criminal aliens back where they came from after they do their prison time and before they commit more crimes,” said Poe, who is co-chair of the Victims’ Rights Caucus. He said both the Obama and Bush administrations handled the issue ineffectively, hiding facts from the American people and “sugar-coating” the truth regarding the deportation of criminal aliens.
This month, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency announced that the Obama administration is planning to dismiss thousands of illegal alien deportation cases, possibly 17,000, if the immigrants have a potential path to legal residency or overstayed their visas.
But critics say many illegal aliens with long criminal records composed of what some courts consider to be lesser charges will see their deportation cases dismissed as well. They cite Sandoval as an example.
“The system is skewed to release these criminals,” said Poe, a former judge. He recalled many times he saw repeat criminal offenders back in his courtroom after issuing detainers, which required the federal government to deport them after they served their U.S. sentences.
“The detainers don’t work, because we either don’t have enough federal agents, the administration doesn’t make it a priority and there isn’t any accountability when alien criminals are released back into society,” Poe said.
ICE, Border Patrol and local law enforcement officers told The Washington Examiner that law enforcement agencies are frustrated by the judicial system’s approach to handling immigrants charged with crimes.
“In the case of Sandoval, ICE did the right thing,” said a federal official who spoke on the condition that he not be named. “They checked his long criminal history, he had two or more crimes involving morale turpitude and should have been deported and had his residency taken away. What does the administration have to say about this? He’s only one of thousands of bad guys that get away with this.”
Said an ICE agent: “What can we do when immigration judges are granted this huge discretionary authority? There is no oversight. This case could have resulted in the death of a police officer.”
Kathryn Mattingly, with the Executive Office for Immigration Reform, said, “The Office of the Chief Immigration Judge regularly monitors immigration judge performance and conduct through EOIR’s performance management program and through its daily supervision of the courts.”
She said that in “instances where concerns regarding an immigration judge’s conduct arise ... any allegations are investigated and resolved in a fair and expeditious manner,” adding that “such investigations could include scenarios where an immigration judge consistently makes ill-advised decisions.”
Sandoval’s Department of Homeland Security arrest record history was obtained by The Examiner.
He had used an alias, Samuel Mendoza, and as early as 1998 he had been arrested for damage to private property and simple assault. Since then he has been arrested for drunken driving, drug charges multiple aggravated assaults, multiple endangerment charges and use of a deadly weapon. In many cases, he was not prosecuted, simply fined and released, according to the documents.
The federal law governing criminal immigrants states that “if you have been convicted of two crimes involving moral turpitude not arising out of a single scheme of criminal misconduct,” you are supposed to be deported.
However, judges have repeatedly used their own discretion not to deport him.
“There is no legal liability on the part of the judge, and you can’t charge a judge for using their discretion,” Poe said. “The judge is morally responsible to follow through with the law because if someone is killed or injured, the blood is on the judge’s hands.
